£10 buys you one number and enters you into 10 cash prize draws!
The more numbers we sell the higher the cash prize will be!
50% of the funds raised are used for prizes and the remaining money goes directly to our fundraiser to help improve the outdoor space for our children at Oxgang Primary.
Fundraising is going to be very different and maybe a little bit trickier for us this year as we are unable to run our usual social events. We hope you will want to join in our fundraising by taking part in the lottery.
The draw is open to all families, relatives and friends of Oxgang Primary School so grandparents, aunties, uncles and friends all can get involved.....as long as you are over 16 years old!
DON’T MISS OUT!!!! To be included in this year’s lottery your completed forms must be back at the school on 12th November 2021 – you will not be able to join after this date.

What is the Lucky Number Lottery?
The Lucky Number Lottery is a fund-raising prize draw operated by Oxgang Primary School PTA.
Of the funds raised a minimum of 50% will be retained for the benefit of Oxgang Primary School and the remaining 50% will be distributed in prizes throughout the year.

Who can join the Lucky Number Lottery?
Membership is open to parents, carers, staff and friends of Oxgang Primary School who are over 16 years of age.

How much will it cost me?
Participation for the prize draw is £1.00 per draw for each number allocated. For each draw individuals are restricted to purchasing a maximum of 5 numbers.
This year we are holding 10 draws (one each month and two in December and June). 1 number = £10, 2 numbers = £20, 3 numbers = £30 etc….

How will I pay?
Payment must be sent in cash directly to the school along with the enrolment form.
Correct money only please.

How do I get my number?
Numbers will be allocated at random by the PTA. If you have a child at the school your number will be sent home in a sealed envelope.
If you don’t have a child at the school please provide your email address and we’ll send you the details by email.

How many prizes will there be and how much can I win?
There will be one prize draw each month with two draws taking place in December and June.
The prize fund will depend on the number of members participating in each draw.
Half of all the money collected will be used as cash prizes, so if we sell 100 numbers the prize for each draw will be £50.

When will the draw be made?
The prize draw will take place on the last school day of each month.

How will winners be notified?
Winning numbers will be drawn by random number generator and the draw will be filmed and put on dojo.
The winner will be contacted by the PTA directly and have the option of receiving their prize money via a bank transfer or cheque.
