Fundraising 2021-2022
We have taken into account feedback from the children and staff and this year will be focussing our fundraising efforts to help renovate the Oxgang Primary School garden.
We are hoping to raise funds to enable us to ....
- Repair and replace some of the existing equipment including new benches and storage equipment
- Purchase a new playhouse and wooden tee pee
- Create a new sand play area
- Purchase a mud kitchen and water play equipment
- Purchase plants pots, seeds, fruit trees, plant food and soil. We'd love to grow our own fruits and veggies
- Purchase some gardening tools, a compost bin and a water butt
- Provide signage/wall art and information about the plants and wildlife in the garden
We're also hoping to raise enough money to line up a big Christmas surprise again this year, provide competition prizes and fund class parties throughout the year.
Fundraising 2020-2021
Last year’s fundraising was targeted towards improving the outdoor playground area for the children. In a year that was difficult for fundraising and where were unable to hold face to face events, you raised an amazing £5,475.73!!!!
The school have been consulting with the children and have set up working groups with all classes being represented. The children are going to be researching and discussing the type of improvements and equipment they would most like to see in their playground.
A huge thank you to all our parents and families that supported us last year and made this possible
Watch this space for further updates as we start to roll out their plans and suggestions.
Fundraising 2019-2020
In 2019-2020 we were raising funds towards improving the IT set up in the main hall including a new digital projector and enhanced sound system and you raised an amazing £3,798 (despite being unable to do any fundraising in the last term due to the COVID 19 school closures). The new IT equipment was installed in early 2020 and has been used for many different events in the main hall including the occasional afternoon movie showings as an end of term treat.
